Armament Technology Incorporated has just introduced the new Tangent Theta model TT315LRH 3-15x50mm riflescope. The new Tangent Theta Long Range Hunter is a variable power riflescope making use of externally calibrated adjustment dials and also makes use of a first focal plane system keeping the reticle subtensions constant across all magnification ranges.
Introducing the New Tangent Theta Long Range Hunter
- Rapid Access Elevation and Windage
- Auto Isolation feature
- Locking rapid adjust diopter
- Rev indication on Elevation
- Low profile parallax (side adjust and Illumination control)
- No field of view occlusion in shooting position
- Single-piece tube
- Includes Tenebraex flip covers
- Includes battery cap tool
The single-piece main tube encloses all the optical components and adjustments are made by way of the windage and elevation dials on the top and right sides of the scope. The scope makes use of a 50mm objective lens and a 32mm eyepiece which should provide excellent image quality in lower light level ranges.
Total Elevation 18.4 MRAD (63 MOA)
Working Elevation 11.7 MRAD (39 MOA)
Total Windage +/- 6 MRAD ( +/- 21 MOA)
Working Windage +/- 2.8 MRAD (+/- 9.5 MOA)
Eye Relief 90mm nominal
Length 350mm nominal
FOV 1.6 degrees @ 15x, 7.3 degrees @ 3x
Rapid Access Turrets allow the operator to quickly “pop up” the auto isolation portion of either the elevation or windage turret. This exposes the adjustment calibrations and engages the turret to allow changes to be made when rotated. When the auto isolation features are not engaged (or in the down / closed position) the turrets will spin freely thus protecting the accidental dislodging of the settings on the turret.
The Long Range Hunter is currently on sale for an MSRP of $3,729.00 but due to initial demand, there is currently a 4-5 month delivery time from the date of order. More information on the Tangent Theta Long Range Hunter can be found on the Armament Technology Incorporated website and the scope itself can be found through other retailers such as Eurooptic.
