Franklin Armory Releases New PC-C1 Binary Trigger for Ruger PCCs -The Firearm Blog

Franklin Armory introduces their newest Binary Trigger, this time for Ruger’s PC Charger and PC Carbine models.

One of the main focuses of Nevada-based Franklin Armory is creativity. One particularly creative product series with which they have made waves, their Binary Triggers, has been previously released for ARs, AKs, 10/22s, MP5 clones, and more. These triggers are unusual in that they not only fire when pulled, like a normal semi-automatic fire control system, but in their third firing position, they also fire another round upon trigger release. This assists in rapid firing but manages not to change the legal semi-auto classification, as would normally be the case with a three-position fire control group. A selection of TFB’s prior coverage of these atypical triggers is listed for you below.

Now the mad scientists of Minden have added another model to the binary firing system lineup: the new PC-C1. This version is designed to fit Ruger‘s pistol-caliber carbine firearms, the PC Charger and PC Carbine. These Ruger guns come in either 9mm or .40 cal variants and accept either Ruger or Glock magazines. Most of these models feature traditional fixed rifle stock ergonomics, except for a few versions intended to more closely replicate standard AR-style configurations with pistol grips and telescoping buttstocks. Franklin’s press release announcing the new Ruger-compatible binary bang switch model reads as follows.

Already well known for an extensive line-up of Binary® triggers, including models for the 10/22®, AR, AK, CZ Scorpion, HK, and more… Now they have changed the game for the Ruger® PC Carbine™.

The all-new Franklin Armory® PC-C1 features a curved trigger design, with a smooth uptake and crisp break. These features improve trigger ergonomics and an overall improved feel of the PC Carbine™ trigger.

The BFSIII® PC-C1 for the Ruger® PC Carbine™ is a three-position trigger with the following functions:

Position 1 – Safe –Will not fire.
