Smith & Wesson expanded its new M&P Shield M&P M2.0 series, launching a new model featuring an integrated Crimson Trace green laser.
Chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W, the new laser equipped M2.0 keeps to the overall aesthetics on the M&P line-up. Featuring a slim profile and 18-degree grip angle, the pistol looks to provide shooters with a comfortable, natural point of aim. The pistol features a barrel length of 3.1-inches on a 6.1-inches overall length. Tipping scales at 18.8-ounces, the pistol boasts a polymer frame paired with a stainless steel with Armornite finish.
The laser model comes equipped with two laser modes and ambidextrous laser activation. Smith & Wesson says the latest M2.0 continues the M&P’s theme to offering reliable performance in an easy-to-carry package.
“When we began developing the M&P Shield M2.0 pistol with an integrated laser, we recognized the importance of delivering to our customers the benefit of integrating the popular Crimson Trace green laser into their concealed carry pistol,” Jan Mladek, General Manager of Smith & Wesson and M&P brands, said in a press release. “Working together with Crimson Trace has allowed us to expand upon the M&P Shield M2.0 platform and offer our customers another innovative concealed carry option.”
The M&P Shield M2.0 is priced at $549.
