Savage Arms recently ushered in a new stock system called AccuFit which will be gracing dozens of rifles, both old and new, throughout 2018. Initially, Savage has announced 11 new configurations that will be sporting this stock which has the ability to adjust for an individual shooter’s cheek weld and length-of-pull.
To appropriately address all of these rifles, we will take a 4-part journey so every new rifle is adequately described.
savage arms 110 Hunter w/ accufit stock
The Model 110 Hunter features a blued action, blued barrel with button rifling and has a detachable box magazine (DBM). These simple traits for hunters are paired with a grey synthetic AccuStock and Savage’s hallmark AccuTrigger which is user adjustable from 2.5 – 6 Lbs in pull weight. The grey AccuStock also has soft grip inserts on the forearm and pistol grip areas for increased handling.
All of the calibers being offered in this configuration can be read below and have a flat, consistent MSRP of $749 regardless of your chosen caliber.
- .204 Ruger | .223 Rem | .22-250 Rem | .243 Win | .25-06 Rem | .270 Win | .280 Ackley Imp
- 7mm-08 Rem | 7mm Rem Mag | .308 Win | .30-06 Sprg | .300 Win Mag
savage arms 110 hog hunter
The Model 110 Hog Hunter is a pretty unique rifle because of the combination of features it offers to consumers. You have a 20″ Medium Contour barrel that is threaded with a thread cap. You also have pre-installed, tall iron sights to give you the ability to see over a silencer if you employ one. The one shortcoming to the older edition of this model is it used a blind box magazine. Typically, consumers appreciate the convenience of a detachable magazine so with this updated 110 Hog Hunter Savage Arms switched over to the DBM. The olive drab colored stock, Savage’s AccuTrigger and an oversized bolt handle round out the elements of this rifle.
While the 110 Hog Hunter has the adjustable length-of-pull inserts from the AccuFit stock design it does not have the cheek weld pieces to go with it. So to split hairs, this is not a completely outfitted AccuFit rifle, but it does steal some of the qualities.
This model rolls in at an MSRP $594 and is available in three basic calibers: .223 Rem, .308 Win and .338 Federal.

This rifle boasts a 23″ stainless fluted barrel with button rifling, on-off muzzle brake, Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity camouflage synthetic stock and engraved hinged floorplate magazine.
No small or intermediate calibers are offered here because this model is meant to bring the thunder down on a bear. Your caliber selections are as follows:
- .300 Win Mag
- .300 Win Short Mag
- .338 Federal
- .338 Win Mag
- .375 Ruger
The Model 110 Bear Hunter also has Savage’s AccuTrigger and AccuStock aside from the new AccuFit system creating a trifecta of exclusive Savage components. The MSRP for all 5 caliber offerings are benchmarked at $999.
