For 2018, optics manufacturer Meopta announced multiple new products. These include a MeoNight night vision device, MeoRed T reflex sight, and a MeoMag 3x magnifier. The latest from the company is the MeoAce 3×20 tactical sight.

The MeoAce 3×20 is a rifle sight designed for use with the 5.56 NATO and 7.62 NATO cartridges. “ACE” stands for Aiming Compact Equipment, and at less than 5″ in length, it would seem compact is an apt description.

Meopta uses an illuminated reticle that is powered by a single AA battery. The unit has 12 illumination levels and will run for up to 300 hours continuously on a single battery. The sight is night vision compatible.

As is typical with good quality optics, the lenses are multi-coated to help reduce glare, improve clarity and protect the glass from fingerprints and other oils. According to the company, there is an 87% transmission of light through the optic in daylight conditions.

Should you drop it into water, the optic should not suffer any damage. It is rated for being submersible to 2 meters for up to 2 hours. It also has a 500 g resistance to recoil. It has an operating temperature range of -40˚ F to 140˚ F.

The suggested retail price of this optic is $1,299.99. You can purchase it with accessories like a quick release mount and hard case. It should begin shipping in February.
