Crimson Trace has expanded their Laserguard range of integrated pistol laser sights to include several Heckler & Koch Models. In addition to Laserguards for a number of other popular pistol brands, Crimson Trace now offer sights for the popular VP series.
Crimson Trace already market Laserguards for various Glock, Smith & Wesson M&P, Walther, Ruger, and Springfield Armory pistols. The company had already introduced a sight for the HK45C but the new products mark the first Heckler & Koch 9mm pistols to be offered.
Heckler & Koch released a press release announcing the news at the end of January:
Crimson Trace Laserguard weapon sights especially contoured to fit all VP models are now available…
The highly regarded Crimson Trace laser aimers attach to the trigger guard of all VP models, matching the profile of the pistol and feature Crimson Trace’s instinctive front activation button. The laser can be installed in minutes and is adjustable for windage and elevation. Both red and green laser models are available.
“Adding Crimson Trace models to the VP series is a landmark of sorts for us. It means the HK VP is now firmly established as one of the dominant handguns in today’s market. said Bill Dermody, Heckler & Koch’s marketing director. “Crimson Trace is a recognized market leader for compact laser sights and their involvement with the HK line means another high quality accessory is accessible to VP shooters. It’s another example of our commitment to customer driven product improvements.”
The Laserguard will be available for Heckler & Koch’s VP9, VP9SK, and VP40. Both red and green laser options are available. Powered by a 1/3N Lithium battery and housed within a polymer shell, the Laserguard fits over the pistols trigger guard and incorporates a rubber activation pad. Adjustable for windage and elevation and sighted at 50 feet.
Crimson Trace also has a LaserGuard for the SIG Sauer P320 coming in March, more info on that here.
