Crimson Trace Laserguard Pro – Red & Green for Glock Pistols

Crimson Trace recently announced that the new Laserguard Pro line of light and laser units will be offered for the majority of the Glock pistol line. This includes current Gen5 and prior generations of Glocks. Previously, the Laserguard Pro was limited to only the G42 and G43 pistols in the Glock line.

The Laserguard Pro is a single unit that houses either a red or a green supplemental aiming laser and a white LED light. These units mount to the front accessory rail and trigger guard of the Glock pistol. The housing has a runner that extends along the bottom of the trigger guard with an activation button that faces downward at its rear. According to Crimson Trace, this button is depressed and activates the light and laser when the shooter obtains a normal firing grip on the gun.

Four activation modes are available: light only, laser only, light and laser, and strobe light with laser. The units are said to run up to two hours on a single CR2 battery with either a red or green laser. Traditionally, green lasers take significantly more energy to operate, so a green laser in the same size package with the same energy draw as a red laser is a nice technological advancement.

  • 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 37, 38, 39

Gen4

  • 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37

Gen5

Red laser models retail for $279 while the green variants carry a MSRP of $379.

Crimson Trace is owned by American Outdoor Brands Corporation (AOB). AOB also owns firearms manufacturer Smith & Wesson.
